Shabbat Morning Saturday, March 2
Tot Shabbat, 10:00 am In Person All kids ages 0-6 and their grown-ups and families are invited to share in song, story, movement, music and prayer as we celebrate Shabbat together! Our Tot Shabbat will be held in the sanctuary at TBH. Followed by crafts and snack in the Social Hall.

Melaveh Malka: Bingo Night Saturday, March 2, 7:00 pm In Person
Next up in the rotation: TBH Bingo Night! No fee to play--TBH will provide some winner's prizes, but to add to the communal fun, please bring a wrapped White Elephant gift if able!
Melaveh Malka is a traditional term describing Saturday night—accompanying Shabbat out as we get ready for the new week. This is a monthly opportunity for some TBH social time! Visit with your Jewish community and have fun!
Song as a Channel for Blessing Workshop with Batya Levine Sunday, March 3, 1:30 pm In Person
Drawing on the concept of aliyot - being called up to bless and be blessed by the chanting of the Torah - we will interweave song with ritual in a co-created group space to call our prayers into the song, and call the song into our prayers. We will explore the concept of blessings, learn melodies, and have space to give and receive the blessing of song together. This workshop is free for members and $36 for non-members. Register here>>
Senior Schmooze Tuesday, March 5, 12:00 pm In Person
Join us on the first Tuesday of every month for a social gathering, occasional short presentations and healthy dose of humor. Definition of "senior" is up to you. All are welcome. Pat Bartley will be our dessert host this month!
FORKids Food Packing Tuesday, March 5, 4:00 pm In Person @ 2260 Mottman Rd SW, Tumwater, WA 98512
Please come and join us at the Thurston County Food Bank. There are too many kids that need food during the weekend when they don't have food from the school food programs. Come join us for one of the best mitzvot you can do. We'll work hard, socialize and have some fun. We'll work as a team and make pallets full of protein, milk and snacks for hundreds of children in need.
Every month on the first Tuesday at 4pm until further notice. Bring your friends. This is good for all ages from 7 to 100.

Looking for Dough Makers! Drop off between March 5 - March 10
Purim is around the corner and we are looking for help making hamentaschen! We will need dough prepared ahead of time for our March 10 baking day with our Darchei Noam Students. We will provide a recipe. Please email Catherine if you can bring by some dough between March 5 and March 10.
Growing Shabbaton @ Schechter Friday-Saturday, March 15-16 In Person
We will celebrate Shabbat together from beginning to end! Join us Friday for our normal Growing Shabbat dinner and service. Stay overnight in a cabin. Enjoy the the whole next day of camp Shabbat experiences! We'll have tefillah, learning, and plenty of time to eat, schmooze and play. After havdallah, we'll head on home.
All are welcome. Programming is designed for children, families, and adults!

Shabbat Salon: Deke Moulton Friday, March 8, 6:30 pm In Person
Join TBH for a presentation by TBH Member and Author Deke Moulton. Deke will be presenting on her book "Don't Want to Be Your Monster," the antisemitic roots to many of our favorite monsters, and discover ways in which deconstructing of those myths are happening today.
Our salon includes a dinner at 6:30 pm catered by Nineveh! Our menu this month features an Italian feast! We will gather in the social hall at 6:30 to say Shabbat prayers as a community and enjoy dinner together. Our featured presenter will follow at approximately 7:30 pm.

Camp Kesher Early Bird Registration Closes March 31
On Labor Day weekend, come join this fun-filled weekend with other Jewish families across our region! It kicks off on Friday where we meet at beautiful Camp Sealth on Vashon Island (each family will have their own cabin). For four days, campers of all ages are immersed in Jewish community and study, and enjoy nature, sports, music, mahjong, and crafts—away from everyday distractions and responsibilities. (No cooking!) Tivnu Summer Program March 3 Info Session June 23-July 4 Program
Tivnu is partnering with the BJE of Phoenix to bring together rising ninth- through twelfth-graders from across the country in Portland, Seattle, and the Oregon Coast, June 23-July 4, 2024. Help build up homeless tiny house communities, address food insecurity, and bring supplies and resources to people living on the streets. Lag B'Omer Celebration at Camp Solomon Schechter Sunday, May 18th 3:00p to 7:00p Everyone is welcome to join us for a celebration of Lag B'Omer! We will have games, learning, a picnic dinner and make s'mores around a campfire. There is no cost, but registration is required for gate access and meal numbers.
