Life & Legacy
Planned Giving
Since our founding in 1937, we have been dedicated to the perpetuation of Jewish life and learning, tradition and practice.
The first Jewish settlers in Washington State settled in Olympia, establishing the first Jewish organization and the first Jewish cemetery in the State. This history is a proud part of our heritage. The founders of Temple Beth Hatfiloh believed that the local Jewish community required a home that would welcome all comers and provide a solid foundation for the Olympia Jewish community. Our current members of TBH are the proud inheritors and perpetuators of that legacy, providing the Olympia community with a home, a rabbi and the resources needed for a vibrant Jewish life for people in all stages of life. Our legacy donors are individuals like you who desire to perpetuate that community for future generations, so that others benefit in the way we have. Your legacy gift can be made now, at no cost to you today, making a significant impact on our Jewish community beyond your years. Please join us by making your legacy gift to Temple Beth Hatfiloh to honor our Jewish past and secure our Jewish future.
LIFE & LEGACY® is a 4-year partnership program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) that assists communities across North America, through partnerships with Jewish Federations and Foundations, to promote after-lifetime giving to benefit Jewish day schools, synagogues, social service organizations and other Jewish entities.
Through training, support and monetary incentives, LIFE & LEGACY motivates Jewish organizations to secure legacy gifts, steward donors and integrate legacy giving into the philanthropic culture of the Jewish community.
