TBH Choir: Kol N'shama
The TBH choir, Kol N’shama (voices of the soul), is a volunteer choir of TBH members.
Kol N'shama leads the congregation in song with old favorites and new arrangements on the first Friday of each month during the school year, and during High Holiday services.
Kol N’shama elevates and celebrates Jewish life and culture through song! The choir, led by Lydia Beth Leimbach, focuses largely on a wide range of Jewish liturgical music, from Renaissance to contemporary arrangements, and secular music written by Jewish and non-Jewish artists.
Originally envisioned by Rabbi Marna Sapsowitz in the late 1990’s, the choir began singing at High Holiday services. Around 2004, they expanded to sing at monthly Shabbat services, High Holy Days, Interfaith and TBH events.
