Are you interested in crafting a TBH Artworks Policy? May 5th deadline
Should TBH have a policy guiding the acquisition, location, and design of artworks inside the temple and around the temple grounds? The TBH board is seeking community members to participate in a committee to develop such a policy. If creating inclusive aesthetic spaces that speak to modern Jewish life through our visual surroundings is important to you, please consider offering your time for this committee. It is expected to be a short-term commitment of a couple of meetings over a one-month duration. If you are interested in serving on such a committee, please contact TBH Board Member Daniel Farber (dbenfarber@gmail.com; 350-402-9983) by May 5. He can answer any questions you may have and forward your name to our Co-Presidents for their appointment decisions.

Save the Date: Immigration Committee “Open House” Thursday, May 18, 7:00 pm Online
As we look back to Passover and Yom Hashanah, the Day of Remembrance, we are again reminded of the importance of the Jewish values of supporting people in need and welcoming strangers Over the past few years the TBH Immigration and Refugee Task Force has accomplished great things, including offering sanctuary to a mother and her child who we continue to support. The immigration group is now at a crossroads. New members and those just interested are needed to provide ideas for our next steps and to continue this important work. With that in mind we would love you to join us via Zoom on May 18th at 7:00pm. Come to hear what has been accomplished and suggestions for things that we could focus on. Most importantly come with your ideas for projects you would like to help TBH to pursue. Register here>>

HFLA Loan Applications April & May
This is the time of year when students and their families learn where their students will be headed to school in the fall. HFLA is preparing to support your student by actively raising funds for the Student Access Fund (SAF) loan, and our scholarship programs.
We also continue to be a resource for individuals who are looking to make-ends-meet, afford transportation and housing, need help paying medical bills, refinancing high-interest debt and student loans.
HFLA is a community resource to help you meet unforeseen expenses and to reduce your debt burden by replacing debt that grows with an HFLA loan that only shrinks.
