Welcoming and Blessing the Children September 26, approximately 11:45 am Hybrid
On Rosh Hashanah we celebrate new life and new beginnings. First, anyone who has welcomed a new child into their family this year (as parents, grandparents, etc) will be invited to join in the English reading of the Haftarah. If you would like to take part, please be in touch with Rabbi Seth at rabbi@bethhatfiloh.org. While services will be hybrid, we will probably record the haftarah as a video (from the comfort of your home!).
Following the reading, we will invite all of the children to come to the bimah to stand under a tallit as we bless them on their life's journey! If your children are not joining us in person but you would like them to be included in the community blessing, please send us a photo to include in our Blessing of the Children slideshow. Photos will not be identified. Send photos to tbh@bethhatfiloh.org.
