High Holiday Donation

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the TBH, we are sending you and your family our best wishes for a happy and healthy 5783!

This past year, 5782, was another year of incredible resilience by our community in the face of COVID. We continued to swing between being able to see each other in person and then going back to full hybrid when necessary. However, we still managed to stay together virtually when needed, and came together again in person when possible. Our community remained flexible in our gathering, and committed to maintaining our culture and heritage.

Our growing congregation means new pressures on existing staff. Your donation to TBH as part of our High Holiday appeal will help us maintain and grow in numerous ways. Donations from community members are a critical part of our operating budget. They are used to assist with paying staff salaries and ensure health care coverage for our Rabbi. They keep the lights on and the technology to keep the Zoom screens running. They support our Jewish life and learning programs for adults and our children.

With our continued growth we have additional needs this year. We would like to add staff office assistance for the Rabbi and Kayla. We also need to support additional janitorial, clean up and landscaping duties. Beyond general janitorial services we need to ensure social hall and kitchen clean up after B’nai Mitzvahs, Salons and Onegs. This has become a critical need.  

With all of the exciting things happening at TBH, we thank you for considering a gift to our annual High Holiday appeal. We are hoping to raise $11,566…an amount that represents the coming year doubled! You can donate online here by mailing a check made out to TBH at 201 8th Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501. 

Our Jewish community has continued to pray together, organize together, and volunteer together through one of the most difficult times in history. It has been a true testament to the strength of who we are as a people locally, and throughout history. Please help us to sustain TBH as an organization that strives to reflect our cultural and religious values in everything we do and as a community that welcomes, embraces and supports all of us.
