Hanukkah Drive Through! Sunday, December 6, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
We have a special gift for our TBH Members to safely celebrate Hanukkah together this year! We will be distributing gift bags of Hanukkah candles and gelt (plus one or two other Hanukkah goodies) in the TBH parking lot. Non-members who are in need of the Hanukkah essentials are welcome to email tbh@bethhatfiloh.org to set up an appointment for gift shop purchase.
December 6 Parking Lot Walking Tour: Canceled
Due to COVID-19 concerns and the Governor's recent restrictions on group gathering, the walking tour of the parking lot that was set for 10 am on December 6 has been canceled. In its place, a video tour will be included at the beginning of the December 13 Zoom-based Visioning Session. Prior to that session, congregants are welcome and encouraged to take a walk around the site on their own to "get a lay of the land." Any questions can be directed to Daniel Farber at 360-402-9983.
Dybbuk Auditions Sunday, December 6, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
TBH will be hosting a production of The Dybbuk on December 24, catered to the Zoom experience. Directed by Nomy Lamm and guest artist Elana June Margolis, Temple Beth Hatfiloh members are warmly invited to audition. Register here>>

Jews, Racial Justice, & TBH Series First Event: Sunday, December 6 , 2-3:30 pm
The issue of racial justice has been and continues to be ever present in our local Olympia community and our nation. How can we talk about and work towards racial justice as a Jewish community? In the coming months, join Rabbi Seth and others as we deeply explore this topic.
Sunday, December 6 Event: Book discussion—“So You Want to Talk About Race” by Ijeoma Oluo.
We begin our community conversations engaging with this powerful text to shape the conversation, identify the important issues, and share experiences. We will focus on the Introduction and Chapter 1. Parking Lot Visioning Meeting Sunday, December 13, 10:00 am
Please join us for the first community "visioning" meeting, that will help guide temple membership in its decision whether to purchase the adjacent parking lot. There will be a presentation on the basic facts of the situation – including the terms of the existing lease and the potential purchase. There will also be a presentation on the economics of parking lot administration. We'll have opportunities for questions and answers and everyone will have a chance to provide their ideas for short-term and long-term uses of the site.
Join us for a FREE family Hanukkah concert featuring Eliana Light, award-winning song writer and educator. Following the concert there will be a menorah lighting.
