What is Jewish About?
5-6 yrs
Each meeting will focus around how Judaism connects to things in our lives like apples, pumpkins, dinosaurs, etc. Kids will learn about things like prayers and holidays, Jewish values, all through the lens of fun and familiar parts of their lives.

Jewish Gardening
8-12 yrs
Since the story of the Garden of Eden, plants play a big role in Jewish life. Plants are connected to holidays and rituals, and in general we are told to live in harmony with the earth. In this group we will learn about Jewish traditions and values through plants. And this is hands-on —we will be doing various projects, even planning and planting in our new TBH courtyard!

Hebrew in the Cards
9-12 yrs
Learn and reinforce Hebrew through card and active games. Each week will introduce a new game. Participants will have an opportunity to take home games to play outside of meeting times. For kids that benefit from less traditional language learning.

6-9 yrs
Lean into customs and values through stories. Deepen learning through hands-on projects, music and drama. As we learn about Jews from around the world, we tie in the personal: Who am I as a Jew? How do I navigate my spiritual journey? How do I belong to my communities?

Moving Traditions
11-13 yrs
6th and 7th graders are invited to meet with Rabbi Seth and learn to navigate the joys and expectations associated with becoming a Jewish adult.
This is a requirement for those who intend to have a b'nai mitzvah
and is offered in three sessions over the course of a year.
