Talmud Study, 1:00 pm In Person The Talmud is a compendium of law and lore that is the basis on which biblical interpretation and contemporary Jewish practice rest. Rabbi Seth will lead us as we dive deep into this complex and fascinating text.

Darchei Noam Play Rehearsal Sunday, March 23, 4:00 pm In Person
Children interested in participating in the Lag BaOmer play on May 4th, we will have our first rehearsal this Sunday, March 23rd at 4-5:15 in the Social Hall. Snacks will be provided. Advancing in Hebrew Tuesday, March 25, 7:30 pm Online
We are meeting 1/2 hour later than normal this month! Meets 4th Tuesday of the month with Rabbi Seth. This seminar-type gathering will work on advancing Hebrew knowledge, including grammar and roots.
2SLGBTQIA+ Jews at TBH Wednesday, March 26, 7:00 pm Online
The nation is becoming an increasingly scary place for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, particularly for those of us that are trans and gender diverse. TBH has offered to create a safe space for 2SLGBTQIA+ Jews to come together in community and do what we can to support each other and our community. This group is just a concept at this time, so we are wanting to gather over zoom with anyone who may want to participate in the creation of this group to see what we can build together. Please join us on Wednesday, March 26 at 7 pm if you are interested in supporting one another during these challenging times!

Learn how to make bagels with Russ Lidman. Plus enjoy a late lunch of bagels, lox and all the toppings as well as coleslaw and potato salad. And of course you will have bagels to take home. Jewish Preschool Visioning Sunday, March 30, 3:00 pm In Person
Calling all families of young kids (or other interested folks in our community)! We are hosting a brainstorming gathering of what it could look like to build a Jewish preschool at TBH. Bring your questions and ideas! This is a preliminary gathering to get an idea of interest and energy in our community. If you can't make it that day, but want to be involved, please let Kayla know. Oral History Training with WSJHS Monday, April 7, 12:30 pm In Person
The Washington State Jewish Historical Society is training new oral historians! If you'd like to volunteer to interview Jewish community members locally and across the State, please show up to our very first training. You will be trained on oral history methodology, recording equipment, ethical considerations and more. All are invited to join us in preserving Jewish history in Washington. Monday, April 7th at 12:30pm.
Passover Community Seder Sunday, April 13, 6:00 pm In Person
Join us as we celebrate the Festival of Freedom together with song and story at the return of our Community Seder. Seder led by Rabbi Seth Goldstein, with the fully catered meal by Nineveh. Darchei Noam Youth Seder Sunday, April 13, 6:00 pm Online
While the Community Seder is open to all, we are creating a special program this year particularly for our school-age kids. Starting at 6 pm, kids ages 5-10 are invited to join us for approximately a one-hour age-appropriate Seder upstairs in the chapel (kids 10+ are encouraged to join the main Community Seder, but please register for what is right for your family). Snacks and ritual foods will be served, not full dinner. After the Youth Seder, we will have a Prince of Egypt movie night so that both the kids' program and main program end at the same time! This program is FREE to attend, but we require advance registration for planning purposes. Register>>

During Shabbat services, we always include a prayer for healing and maintain a list on behalf of members who want to include names in the healing prayers (as well as offering them verbally during services).
