THIS WEEK AT TBH
Tisha B'Av Service Tomorrow: Old & New - a journey of loss & hope Thursday, July 27, 1:00 pm In Person Only at Squaxin Park, along Loop near Rose Garden
What is your relationship to Tisha B’Av? Is there relevance to mourning the destruction of Jerusalem 2600 years ago? Can collective grieving of Climate Breakdown, Social Crisis, Gun violence, Anti -Democracy and Occupation Travesty in Israel, Loss of Faith in our fellow human beings, play a role in healing?
Ok, you have nothing to grieve. Don’t come. Otherwise please join Barak and Rabbi Seth in an intimate gathering, as we enter this holiday, with prayer, songs, poetry, and chanting the ancient text and melodies of Lamentations.
Location: Squaxin Park, picnic area (but don’t share picnic food-this is a fasting holiday!), along loop road by Rose Garden. See map (PDF) . Let’s aim for the rustic wood Shelter, labeled “C”. If unavailable, check A or B, or somewhere conspicuous along the loop. (East Grove is labeled A, the shelter at the apex of the loop road labeled B.)

SOLARIZATION OF OUR TBH BUILDING IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!
To maximize the use of the available roof space, we could install an 11.2 kW system that would produce 21% of our electrical needs. The cost of this system would be $42,000. We currently have $26,000, including a $5000 grant from Adamah. We applied for several larger grants which we did not receive. With the money we now have in hand, we can install a 6.4 kW system that will produce about 12% of the building’s electrical use.
We want to maximize the number of panels we can install. Can you help? Our deadline is AUGUST 15, 2023
