Hanukkah: Save the Date!
It's a quiet week this week, but we're beginning to get ready for Hanukkah! Hanukkah starts the 25th of Kislev, or Sunday, December 18th at sundown. Join us for a Hanukkah party for the first night, and don't forget your candles--the TBH Hanukkah shop will open at the beginning of December!
TBH COMMITTEE UPDATES
The Immigrant and Refugee Task Force has a New Project!
The good news—people are being released regularly from the ICE Detention Center in Tacoma. The bad news—They are being released with no money, no food, and few resources. AIDNW has volunteers who greet these migrants as they are released and help them with their needs. TBH is now assisting by providing 20 sack lunches once a month. If you are interested in shopping, packing bags, and/or delivering to the Tacoma Northwest Detention Center on the third Fridays of the month please contact Nancy Snyder at nancy_snyder@comcast.net.
AROUND THE CONGREGATION
The TBH Office will be closed this Thursday, the 24th and Friday, the 25th.
