COMING UP AT TBH
CHESED + TZEDAKAH = MITZVAH Elul Clothes for Teens Donation Drive NOW through Selichot
As we enter Elul we turn inward and examine our behaviors over the past year. This introspection can lead us to think of ways to help our neighbors. During this time we can recommit to helping our community. This and next month we are focusing on our young homeless/houseless neighbors.
The TBH Homelessness Task Force is sponsoring a clothing drive to benefit Rosie's Place, the youth shelter operated by Community Youth Services. Clothing for ages 15-24, particularly hoodies, jeans, and sweatpants, can be dropped off at TBH anytime you are in the building for services, meal pick-up, study sessions, etc. (or arrange a drop off time with the office). There will be a labeled crate in the entry area next to the food bank bin.
Advancing in Hebrew Thursday, August 25, 7:00 pm Online Only
