TBH Reopening & New COVID Safety Policy Begins Sunday, May 1st
Temple Beth Hatfiloh is implementing a three-stage reopening plan based on the CDC Community Levels tool (see the top of the Weekly email for current level).
All provisions are effective May 1, 2022. This policy applies to all users of the TBH building, including members, staff, students, renters, and members of the general public. As of May 1, 2022 the building will be open for additional services, activities, and events. This policy is subject to change and will be reviewed on a monthly basis by the TBH board until such time that a new policy is adopted, or it is deemed unnecessary.
This policy reflects our communal values of pikuach nefesh (saving life) and kol yisrael areivim zeh l’zeh (all Jews are responsible to one another). And, we invite individual members to make and communicate their choices as appropriate regarding mask wearing, distancing, and touching/hugging/shaking hands. We commit to respect and not judge individual choices.

Summers in the Pacific Northwest are undoubtedly glorious! It is when we, Washingtonians (by birth or osmosis), find every excuse under the sun to go outside, socialize and travel. So join us — even if you don’t want to bring your checkbook! Just by attending, you are contributing to our goal of raising $35,000!
Here are just a few of the many things you will enjoy at the Gala:

Stars of David Softball Returns!
We need a few more players! We are going to be playing on Thursday night which is newly designated as Super Mod coed, which means no tournament players allowed. That should make it more fun. For “coed,” according to the Parks and Rec Dept: “Teams must field five (5) people who identify as men and five (5) people who identify as women or gender nonconforming.
Alternate batting order. Two players who identify the same may not bat in a row.” The games will start June 3rd and we are guaranteed 14 games. We plan to have some practice sessions in May before the season starts. Donations are needed to support players who cannot afford the sign-up fee. Contact Jocelyn at 360-481-5889 or jocbrown3@gmail.com for more info.
