Priorities include: LORRAINE LOOMIS ACT FOR SALMON RECOVERY requires tree buffers that are tall and wide enough to shade rivers and streams. It also requires new standards that prioritize improving ecological conditions instead of mitigating habitat loss. TRANSPORTATION FOR ALL (reduces pollution, improves choices like biking, walking, and public transit to improve access for everyone) GMA SPRAWL LOOPHOLE aims to remove a loophole in our state's Growth Management Act that allows counties to illegally build sprawling developments that encroach on farmlands, forests, and critical habitats. RENEW ACT applies graduated fees for packaging manufacturers based on how easily reusable their products are. This bill will also shift recycling costs away from ratepayers and onto the manufacturers who created the problem. Partnership Agenda for 2022 includes ENERGY FOR ALL led by Front and Centered and BUY CLEAN AND BUY FAIR led by the Washington Blue Green Alliance
Sign up here. Other means of advocacy, email, FB, etc., available as alternatives when you register.

Reconstructionists Expanding Our Conversation About Israel/Palestine January-May 2022
Please join us for a series of learning opportunities led by Reconstructionist rabbis on Israel/Palestine. Guided by the values of justice and the dignity and equal worth of all human life, we seek to promote discussion of the histories and current conditions of Israel/Palestine that challenge the boundaries of current Reconstructionist approaches to Israel/Palestine and re-examine customary assumptions about the role of Israel in diaspora Jewish life. We oppose Israel’s domination of the Palestinian people in all its forms and hope to deepen our relationship with Jews and Palestinians seeking a future of justice and equality in Israel/Palestine. We welcome those who consider themselves Zionists, non-Zionists, and anti-Zionists, and those unsure about how they define themselves, even as we explore the meanings of these terms.
