Membership Renewals Due July 1 Last year we switched to online renewal out of necessity with the pandemic. But, due to its success, we are going to repeat that same process this year. Renewal form links were sent out last weekend, and can be accessed on the TBH website here.
This is intended to be a quick and easy process on your online account. However, if there are any difficulties with accessing your ShulCloud account or filling out your form, please email Kayla in the office . She will be happy to troubleshoot the process or send you a hard copy form--she is out of the office this week but will assist upon her return.
Summer Plan - Steps Toward Reopening Our plan for the summer was emailed out yesterday, including opportunities for in-person indoor and outdoor events coming up in July and August! If you didn't have a chance to read it yet, the full document is available here.

Juneteenth Kabbalat Shabbat Friday, June 18, 2:00 pm Juneteenth is the most recognized African-American holiday observance in the United States and celebrates African American history, culture and progress. The holiday is also referred to as Emancipation Day, Freedom Day, and Black Independence Day.
June 19, 1865 is considered the date when the last slaves in America were freed. Although the rumors of freedom were widespread prior to this, actual emancipation did not come until General Gordon Granger rode into Galveston, Texas with the news that the Civil War had ended and that 250,000 enslaved people were now free. Although the Emancipation Proclamation had formally freed them almost two and a half years earlier (January 1, 1863), Texas was the most remote of the slave states with few Union troops, so enforcement of the proclamation had been slow.
