Mysteries of Creation: A Weekend with Rabbi Jill Hammer and Shoshana Jedwab June 11 - June 12
During this Shabbat, we’ll experience the earth-based, embodied style of Kohenet prayer. Rabbi Jill Hammer will teach Sefer Yetzirah, the ancient mystical Book of Creation, and its practices for connecting to the wonders of inner and outer worlds.
We’ll explore Parashat Korach through bibliodrama and explore legends of the Jewish underworld. And we’ll honor the liminal states in our lives with the ceremony of havdalah—blessing distinctions.

Annual Meeting & Member Vote Due Sunday, June 13, 10:00 am All TBH members are invited to join our Annual Meeting for 2021 to review our past year, celebrate our successes, and plan for our upcoming year! All members in good standing received electronic ballots, meeting materials, and Zoom link last Friday. Please be sure to cast your ballot prior to the Annual Meeting to ensure that we reach a quorum.

Membership Renewals Due July 1 Last year we switched to online renewal out of necessity with the pandemic. But, due to its success, we are going to repeat that same process this year. Please look for an emailed invitation to renew your membership sometime mid-June. This is intended to be a quick and easy process on your online account. However, if there are any difficulties with accessing your ShulCloud account or filling out your form, please email Kayla in the office . She will be happy to troubleshoot the process or send you a hard copy form.

Roadmap to Freedom Event Tuesday, June 8, 6:00 PM
Join the Jewish Coalition for Immigrant Justice NW for this VIRTUAL event to learn about the Roadmap to Freedom and engage further. The Roadmap to Freedom Resolution is a strategic framework for creating a just and humane immigration system in the United States.
Congresswoman Jayapal’s Deputy District Director, Palmira Figueroa, will join us to discuss how the Roadmap can shape policy at the state and federal levels. We will also talk more about how to take action to create a comprehensive, just immigration system and how individuals and organizations can build support for the Roadmap.
