Dinner Orders Due TONIGHT! November Salon@Home Friday, November 13, 6:00 pm
Join us for our November Shabbat Salon@Home! This will feature Russ Lidman, TBH member and Professor Emeritus at Seattle University. He will be presenting on the 2020 Election Results. And, in breaking news, Lietenant Governor-elect Denny Heck will be joining us from Washington DC to give an insider's perspective. Services begin at 6:00 pm and our speakers will begin at roughly 7:15 pm. Because of the update, we have extended our dinner registration to tonight at 5:00 pm!
Meal orders must be placed by Tuesday, November 10Wednesday, November 11 at 5 pm. You do not need to order dinner to attend services or the talk. Join for all or part!
Mahzor Return Friday, November 13, 4:45 pm - 5:30 pm
If you still have your Mahzor from the High Holidays and would like to drop it off, we will have a drop-off box available in the TBH parking lot during Salon Meal pick-up. PJ Library: Havdalah-la-la Saturday, November 14, 5:30 pm
This will feature the music of Kim Schneiderman, Josh Niehaus, Monika Schwartzman and Rabbi Tamar Malino of Spokane will join us to talk about the special place of havdalah in Jewish tradition. Book Group Tuesday, November 17, 7:00 pm
Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor - Yossi Klein Halevi Attempting to break the agonizing impasse between Israelis and Palestinians, the Israeli commentator and award-winning author directly addresses his Palestinian neighbors in this taut and provocative book, empathizing with Palestinian suffering and longing for reconciliation as he explores how the conflict looks through Israeli eyes. Interfaith Thanksgiving Sunday, November 22, 3:00 pm
“Virtually Together, Genuinely Thankful” The evening will feature videos from the interfaith network of member communities of Interfaith Works, including the TBH choir, as well as short reflections on gratitude from regional faith leaders. Find out more here!
