Shabbat in the Sukkah, 6:00 pm Our Shabbat service in the comfort of your own home! Grab your computer and candles, and we'll join together in virtual community. Services will be hosted on Facebook Live and Zoom. Rabbi Seth will be hosting from the TBH Sukkah.
Torah Study, 10:00 am Prayer and study are equally holy activities. All are invited to join in these highly participatory discussions. No experience necessary!
The TBH families with kids are looking for volunteers to participate in a pen pal activity. This activity pairs up TBH kids with other adults in the community to share and learn about what it is like to be Jewish growing up. This is also an opportunity to help families to reach out to each other at an isolating time. If you are interested in correspondence (either by mail or email) with another TBH family, please email Catherine to be matched up with someone. Thank you very much!
Sukkot Nosh & Play Wednesday, October 7, 6:30pm
Join Sara Eve for a Sukkot eat and playtime. Be ready to build a model sukkah in your home (think indoor fort) and a sukkah you can eat - using graham crackers (or other crackers), nut butter or frosting, some edible “schach” and dried fruit, fresh fruit, or candy. We will talk about what makes a sukkah kosher and how we can celebrate Sukkot. While this activity is geared toward pre-K through 3rd grade (youngests in this age group will definitely need parents to join), all ages are welcome and encouraged to join. When you register, you’ll get a list of supplies that you most likely already have on hand to use for indoor building and edible Sukkah-making.
