Kol N'Shama
The Temple Beth Hatfiloh Choir, Kol N’Shama (Voices of the Soul) elevates and celebrates Jewish life and culture through song! Originally envisioned by Rabbi Marna Sapsowitz in the late 1990’s, the choir began singing at High Holiday services. Around 2004, they expanded to sing at monthly Shabbat services, High Holy Days, Interfaith and TBH events. The choir, led by Lydia Beth Leimbach, focuses largely on a wide range of Jewish liturgical music, from Renaissance to contemporary arrangements, and secular music written by Jewish and non-Jewish artists.

Roberta Lamb & Friends
A singer songwriter with unique influences, Roberta Lamb draws on her classical vocal training, her love of blues and pop, and her appreciation for a timeless tune to entertain at a variety of venues. Roberta’s songs range from groove driven and humorous, to impassioned ballads. No matter the song, she brings it straight to the heart with her clear, strong voice and her magnetic stage presence. Roberta Lamb and Friends features Caleb Carr on mandolin; Daniel Farber and Lydia Beth Leimbach on vocals.
Aurora Sonenshine
Aurora is a musician based in Olympia. She has authored a small book of Jewish folk music called Lidlekh as well as created a show by the same name which includes Yiddish and Ladino songs, storytelling, and shadow puppets. She is continuing to deepen her studies of the world of Jewish music and the many ways to interact with this part of our heritage.
Staff Meeting: the Musical
Ever wondered what it was in our office wing at Temple Beth Hatfiloh? What day-to-day life is like for our TBH staff? For a bit of comedic relief, Rabbi Seth and Kayla will peal back the curtain and provide their rendition of our staff operations in musical form. They will be accompanied by Lorna Eder on piano and a cameo by Chelsea.
Conjunto Silva Marron
Conjunto Silva Marron is a Sephardic music ensemble envisioned by Anjali Silva Marron. This combination of Judeo-Spanish vocals, guitar, “palmas”, and flute set to romantic and liturgical themes, and medieval melodies, is haunting; rhythmic, and celebratory – sure to transport you back to the 15th century! Anjali Silva Marron lead vocals and guitar; Sonja Wiedenhaupt on flute; Tikva Glantz, Evan Ferber, Kayla Iverson, and Eliana Stockwell-Ferber on koro and palmas.

Tzepl
Tzepl, “little braid” in Yiddish, brings together the accordion of Laurie Andres, the trombone and tuba of Jimmy Austin, and the violin of Mae Kessler into a sound that’s both harmonious and edgy. Their klezmer music blends tradition with innovation, merging 19th-century European string styles with the brassy energy of early 20th-century America, all anchored by the accordion. It’s music that’s as compelling for listening as it is for dancing.
