The liturgy of the High Holidays comes alive not only through the words, but the music. In this workshop we will learn about the music of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Brad Smith will review some of the traditional tunes, as well as provide insight into the history of the compositions. We will focus on Kol Nidre (of course), Unetaneh Tokef (“who by fire…”) and an overview of nusach (traditional chanting modes).
