Join us for the second Shabbat Salon of the year! Our November presenter will be TBH member Lynne Koral. She will be presenting on Disability and Judaism.

Dr. Lynne Koral has been a lifelong learner, advocate, mother and had many varied experiences from living in six states. She has two master’s degrees and one doctorate. She has been in many volunteer leadership positions as President and Treasurer in Alaska, and Braille Revival League and Blind Information Technology Specialists. She is now in the Olympia chapter as Secretary and also serves and was just appointed to the Multicultural Affairs Committee and has been on the Transportation Committee for American Council of the Blind. Much of her activity was working with that organization. She serves on the Accessibility Community Advisory Committee in Thurston County, and was just appointed to the Patron Council of the JBI (used to be Jewish Braille Institute).

ABOUT OUR SHABBAT SALON

Our Shabbat Salons this year will not include a full service in the Sanctuary. Rather, we will join in-person in community to celebrate Shabbat in the social hall with several prayers before we enjoy a catered vegetarian dinner by Nineveh.  The presentation begins between 7:45 and 8:00 pm, and the event typically concludes at 9:00 pm. Each menu is specially created just for TBH!

Dinner Menu:

• Matzo ball soup
• Challah rolls
• Green salad with vinaigrette
• Carrot tzimmes
• Lukshen kugel
• Zucchini kugel
• Lemon pound cake

Dinner is $18 per person. RSVP is required for the dinner only. You may join us for the service and presentation without an RSVP.

HOW TO REGISTER

Complete the form below and pay online with a credit card or PayPal account. If you prefer to pay by CHECK OR CASH, please e-mail your dinner RSVP to tbh@bethhatfiloh.org. You may drop your payment in the Mail Box in the TBH foyer by the admin office or you may pay the night of the event.

Once dinner registration has closed, payment for dinner is non-refundable if you have to cancel. However, you may transfer your dinner ticket to another person. If you choose to pay by check/cash, please contact the office to make arrangements.

Important Note: Event Registration is for the dinner ONLY. You may attend the service and/or speaker presentation without having dinner. Registration  closes the Wednesday before the Salon at 5:00 pm.
