For 25 years, TBH has been affiliated with the Reconstructionist movement. The Reconstructionist movement began in the early 20th century in America as a school of thought rooted in the work of Rabbi Mordecai Kaplan. While TBH is home to Jews from diverse backgrounds, the ideas of Reconstructionism inform our approach to Jewish life and community. We will examine Kaplan’s writings and use them as a jumping off point for discussing issues affecting the contemporary Jewish community.

Taught by Rabbi Seth Goldstein.
