Listening Circles Facilitated by Jews and Allies United to End Anti-Semitism.

Sunday, January 12, 2020 15 Tevet 5780

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Come join us to think about anti-Semitism together, through the lens of personal experiences and feelings. This interactive program will be led by an intergenerational, interracial group of Jews and allies who are longtime members or supporters of TBH. We will define anti-Semitism, explore how anti-Semitism is experienced from the inside, and share strategies for healing from its effects.

Jews and Allies United to End Anti-Semitism is an international project of the Re-evaluation Counseling communities, the basic tool of which is co-counseling--two people taking turns listening to each other to recover from the effects of hurtful experiences. The founder of this project is Cherie Brown, an adjunct faculty member at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and a frequent contributor to Tikkun magazine. She is also the co-author of the booklet Anti-Semitism: Why Is It Everyone's Concern? To learn more about this international project, see reports of recent activities, and read what both Jews and allies say about the impact of this work, visit JewsAndAllies.org.
