8:00 PM - 11:55 PMJoin us as we celebrate Shavuot, the springtime festival marking the biblical story of the revelation of the Torah at Mount Sinai. Shavuot is traditionally marked by late night Jewish study. This year, we will dedicate the evening to an exploration of the idea of Chosenness and The Chosen People with a documentary film and conversation.

10:00 pm - Q&A with the filmmaker, Joshua Gippen (via Skype)
10:30 pm to midnight - Continued conversation and learning, including Rabbi Seth on “Chosenness in the Liturgy”
