CHESED + TZEDAKAH = MITZVAH Lag B’Omer Personal Hygiene Products Donation Drive Drop off times: Friday, May 13, 5:00-6:00 pm at TBH during Salon dinner pickup Thursday, May 19, 5:00-6:30 at the Lag B’Omer Celebration in Pioneer Park
Sponsored by the TBH Homelessness Task Force Imagine you left Mitzrayim (Egypt) and have been trudging through the desert for 33 days. You come upon an oasis but do not have soap or toothpaste because you left in such a hurry. Or imagine you have been observing the Omer by not cutting your hair and you're ready for a nice shower and haircut.
With this in mind let us help those who do not have enough resources after buying food to purchase personal hygiene products. The Other Bank which is a program of the Thurston County Food Bank will be the recipient of our Lag B’Omer personal hygiene product drive.
If you have a donation and are unable to make the above drop off times, contact Kayla to drop off at TBH.
Remember the focus of the Lag B’Omer drive is personal hygiene products.Things like body wash, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, hand soap, toothbrushes, hair combs and brushes. Travel size products are especially appreciated. Please make sure containers are not leaking.
If you want to donate a case of product, bring that directly to one of the Thurston County Food Bank Drop off sites. A case will be too large and heavy for our volunteers to transport.
Less than three weeks away! Buy your tickets today for the TBH Biennial Gala & Auction Event! Seating is limited to 110.
Visit www.bethhatfiloh.org/gala to purchase your tickets early to ensure your seat! Or, contact Kayla in the TBH office at (360) 754-8519 or tbh@bethhatfiloh.org to reserve your tickets.

Stars of David Softball Returns!

The games will start June 3rd and we are guaranteed 14 games. We plan to have some practice sessions in May before the season starts. Donations are needed to support players who cannot afford the sign-up fee. Contact Jocelyn at 360-481-5889 or jocbrown3@gmail.com for more info.
