Saturday Schedule
10:30 am - Noon: Morning Service (Earth-based, feminist, Jewish ritual)
Noon - 1 pm: Torah Service*
1 - 2 pm: Potluck with Tree Theme (fruits, nuts)

2 - 6 pm: Experiential Workshop
Coming out of Tu B’shvat, as the sap rises in the veins of the trees, we feel our earth-bodies awakening to the changing light. The trees’ structure, stability and steadfastness, their quiet witnessing, these are ways that we want to learn to be there for each other, to be in community together.

In this workshop we will explore the roots of Judaism through embodying the archetypes of trees in Jewish teachings. We’ll pay reverence to the sacred tree of life explored in the Kabbalah, relate to the physical body of the Torah made of animal skin and plant matter, and create art that explores our commitment to taking care of the earth and trees we love. We’ll sing, pray, eat, tend our bodies and plant seeds.

No Hebrew or Singing Experience required. Beginners Welcome.

Morning service is free. Workshop is sliding scale $50-100, according to what you can afford.
