The next session's topic is Israel/Palestine. Many of our participants at the first session expressed interest in diving into Israel's history, Israeli/Palestinian relations, past and present... and understanding the American Jewish connection to the Israeli culture and community. Facilitator Mo Golden feels uniquely positioned to hold this conversation with TBH teens, as she has worked with Jewish organizations across the political spectrum and with varied relationships and views around Israel, and feels excited about creating a structure for diverse perspectives. The goal of this session is to offer an overview of key information, as well as a space for participants to explore their own experiences and views, while learning from their peers.
