5782 High Holiday Donation

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the TBH, I am sending you and your family our best wishes for a happy and healthy 5782!

What a year 5781 was for our community! Our ability to stay together in services, classes, task forces and committees, even if it was through Zoom, showed the strength of our TBH community even in the face of adversity! It fulfilled TBH’s mission as a home for the Olympia and South Sound Jewish community to gather together both spiritually and culturally.

Your donation to TBH as part of our High Holiday appeal will help us maintain and grow in numerous ways. Donations from community members are a critical part of our operating budget. They are used to subsidize our Family Life & Learning program, assist with paying staff salaries and ensure health care coverage for our Rabbi. With our continued growth we have additional needs this year. We would like to add some staff office assistance for the Rabbi and Kayla. We also need to support additional janitorial, clean up and landscaping duties. Beyond general janitorial we need to ensure social hall and kitchen clean up after B’nai Mitzvahs, Salons and Onegs. This has become a critical need.

With all this said, we thank you for considering a gift to our annual High Holiday appeal. We are hoping to raise $11,564…an amount that represents the coming year doubled! You can donate by filling out the form below or mailing a check to TBH, 201 8th Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501.

Our Jewish community has continued to pray together, organize together, and volunteer together through one of the most difficult times in history. It has been a true testament to the strength of who we are as a people locally, and through history. Please help us to sustain TBH as an organization that strives to reflect our cultural and religious values in everything we do.

Our appeal will end on October 1. Thank you again for considering a donation.

I want to once more wish year a happy and healthy 5782. Let’s hope this will be the year that ends the pandemic and we can once more be together! I miss all of you!

L'Shalom,
