Tzedakah and Social Action are key parts of our Beit Sefer curriculum, and in preparation for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah , students are required to participate in a community service project. TBH also participates in the Milk and Honey program through the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, in which parents and TBH invests in sending high school students on trips to Israel . Also, classes are suspended for our annual Mitzvah Day in which our school children, their families, and members of the congregation participate in social action projects around town.
