Having outgrown our original 1938 home at the corner of 8th and Jefferson in downtown Olympia , the congregation in 2003 bought the former home of the First Church of Christ, Scientist three blocks west. Right before the High Holidays in 2004 the building was formally dedicated as the new home of Temple Beth Hatfiloh. The new building more than doubles the congregation's former home, and greatly increases our ability to offer a diverse array of programs and serve as a center for Jewish life in the South Sound. With plans for an addition that would add offices and classroom and meeting space, the congregation is poised for more growth, both in size and in spirit. |
