Where would Jewish culture be without food? TBH sponsors two major programs celebrating Jewish cuisine. On Superbowl Sunday, community members can pick up a deli sandwich at DeliFest, which also serves to raise awareness and funds for the congregation. On the other end of the meat-dairy spectrum is Blintzapalooza, a major community celebration where members of the Jewish and greater Olympia community gather to eat blintzes and bagels and socialize. A Bagel Bake-off with celebrity judges is part of the festivities, and all money raised from the event goes to benefit local charities and community organizations. |
